We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world. World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached. Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you. ABOUT THE ROLE *Open to hiring remote across the US and London— we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, and London We are looking for a highly-motivated senior IC who will work with some of Runway’s biggest and most strategic partners. We are architecting the best GTM team in all of AI. If you want to grow, run fast, and sell with a leading-edge frontier AI company with room to grow your career, please apply. ABOUT THE ROLE *Preferable to have someone near one of our offices in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the world for the right candidate. Runway Creative is an all-in-one platform giving creators and businesses endless ways to generate and edit video, images, and audio. Our user base spans across professional creatives, as well as business owners and enterprise marketing and merchandising teams that come to Runway to generate videos, ads and other content to promote their products and services. We're hiring a product marketing leader for Runway Creative, leading our audience growth across both self-serve and enterprise. This is not a top-of-funnel-only brand or “launch” role. You'll own the segment, from how we acquire users, to how they activate and convert in-product, to how self-serve teams expand into enterprise relationships. You'll start deeply hands-on as the primary PMM for Creative, and build a team over time as the function scales. This is a builder's role. You'll be defining the discipline, working shoulder-to-shoulder with product, creative, marketing and growth; you'll be measured on the growth of the business (not just on assets shipped or messaging consistency). WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the segment. Define Runway Creative's audiences: who they are, the jobs they hire Runway for, how they differ across self-serve and enterprise. Ground audiences in hands on customer research, win/loss details, and usage analysis. Turn these insights into a point of view that product and leadership actually build against. - Own positioning and messaging for Creative. Define how Runway Creative is positioned across its audiences and motions, from individual creators to marketing teams to enterprise buyers. Make the story sharp, consistent, and reflective of Runway's ambitious brand, and make sure a professional buyer recognizes themselves in it. - Drive acquisition and conversion, not just awareness. Partner with growth to move the funnel that matters for this segment: acquisition channels and targeting that find more of these users, and the in-product activation, upgrade, and expansion mechanics that convert and retain them. You're comfortable owning metrics and running experiments, not just producing the narrative around them. - Lead pricing and packaging. Co-own with product, finance, and growth how Runway Creative is packaged and priced across individuals, teams, and enterprise. Lead from first-hand experience developing winning pricing and packaging in a PLG setting. - Drive competitive intelligence and response. Track and deeply understand the key players across the AI creative tools market. Turn your market understanding into a living point of view on where we win, where we're exposed, and how we respond, and make it legible to product and leadership. - Partner on enablement. Stand up enablement that fits both motions — in-product surfaces, onboarding, and lifecycle for self-serve; current, credible messaging and proof points for sales and partnerships on the enterprise side (in partnership with a sales enablement team). - Build the team. Start as the primary hands-on driver for creative tools marketing, then hire and lead a team as the function grows. You’ll raise the bar on craft and speed as you scale. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 7+ years in product marketing, including time leading PMM for a winning PLG product at meaningful scale. You’ll bring a track record of work that moved business metrics — acquisition, conversion, or revenue — not just launches that shipped. - Segment and growth fluency. You've defined an audience or segment and built a go-to-market around it. You understand self-serve / product-led growth mechanics and are comfortable being measured on funnel outcomes (activation, conversion, expansion), partnering closely with growth and product to move them. - Pricing and packaging experience. You've shaped how a product is packaged and priced across individual and team/enterprise tiers, and you understand the tradeoffs a self-serve-to-enterprise motion creates. - Exceptional positioning and narrative craft. You can take research concepts and technical products and make them land for a discerning, professional audience. You create sharp positioning, ad creative, and launch stories (and you can write them yourself). - You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate toward shipping today (not writing docs for tomorrow). - Sharp competitive instincts. You track markets closely, form a real point of view on where to win, and translate it into product and messaging decisions. - Excellent written and verbal communication. You confidently assess the state of the business, call out challenges, and articulate your plans to solve them. Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you. ABOUT THE ROLE *Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv. We are hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own paid search and the emerging bidding-platform channels end to end Google Ads today, ChatGPT Ads and whatever bids next. This is a hands-in-the-account role: you build campaigns, run experiments, manage bids and budgets daily, and defend every dollar against our cost-per-subscriber breakeven. You'll manage seven-figure budgets in spend across markets (US + international) and be the person who knows, at any moment, why the number moved. We're an AI-native creative platform in scale mode. Paid search is one of our priority acquisition channels and we're actively expanding it — new geos, new bidding surfaces, new optimization events. You'll be the operator driving that. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Day-to-day management of Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads — campaign structure, keywords, bids, budgets, negatives, quality score, geo and device splits. - Own the cost-per-acquisition number. Manage to a cost-per-acquisition target, not clicks or registrations. Know the funnel from impression → registration → subscription and where it leaks. - Run a continuous test roadmap — bidding strategies (tCPA / Smart Bidding), optimization events, ad copy, landing pages, audience and geo splits. One test, one hypothesis, one readout. - Prove incrementality. Design and read geo holdouts, conversion-lift studies, and pause tests. Distinguish incremental subscribers from ones we'd have gotten anyway. - Manage budget across markets — allocate and reallocate spend by market and campaign against performance, break out international blobs, fund the geos that earn it. - Stand up new bidding platforms as they emerge. You'll be first-in on the next channel and write the playbook for it. - Report clearly. Daily and weekly readouts that lead with the "why," not just the table. Partner with our analytics stack, much of this is instrumented and semi-automated; you'll extend it. - Work cross-functionally with creative, lifecycle, product marketing, and engineering on tracking, attribution, and landing page conversion. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 4+ years managing paid search, with direct ownership of seven-figures in budget. - Deep Google Ads expertise — Smart Bidding, tCPA/tROAS, Performance Max / AI Max, Demand Gen, search term hygiene, quality score, the Editor. - A track record running incrementality tests (geo holdouts, lift studies) and acting on the results — not just reporting platform-reported conversions. - Fluency in funnel economics: CAC, LTV, cost-per-acquisition, payback. You optimize to downstream value, not proxy events. - Comfort in the data — SQL or willingness to learn it, plus GA4 / Mixpanel or equivalent. You pull your own numbers. - Rigorous experiment discipline and clear, opinionated written reporting. BONUS POINTS - Subscription / freemium or consumer SaaS experience. - International / multi-market paid search experience. - Experience with MCP / AI tooling to automate redundant tasks such as daily optimizations and reporting. - Early experience with AI-native ad surfaces (ChatGPT Ads, etc.) or other non-Google bidding platforms. - Familiarity with attribution plumbing — click IDs, enhanced conversions, server-side tracking. We are seeking a visionary and high-impact General Manager for Japan to lead our commercial expansion. This is a foundational role. You will be responsible for defining our go-to-market strategy in Japan, establishing enterprise partnerships and customer relationships and driving the adoption of Runway’s creator platform across the region. Note: For candidates based in Tokyo, this role may expand into the Country Manager, overseeing local operations and serving as the primary representative of Runway in Japan. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead commercial efforts by designing the go-to-market strategy for Japan, focusing on high-value enterprise accounts in media, entertainment, advertising, brands and technology sectors - Identify enterprise and distribution partnerships, cultivating relationships with C-suite executives at Japan’s largest firms, navigating the unique nuances of Japanese business culture and long-term relationship building - Localize product and marketing strategy to the Japan market, working closely with Product, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure Runway’s offerings and messaging are deeply resonant with Japanese customer base - Serve as the subject matter expert on the Japanese and broader Asia competitive landscape, regulatory environment and emerging AI trends - Build the Japan office by recruiting, leading and mentoring a local team of enterprise account executives, and growth and deployment leads - Represent Runway at major industry events, conferences, and in the media to establish us as the leading AI partner for Japanese creators and enterprises WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, media technology or high-growth AI startups, with a proven leadership track record of building and cultivating high performance teams - Native fluency in Japanese, with professional fluency in English. You must be able to bridge the communication gap between our US teams and local stakeholders - An existing network of relationships within major Japanese media companies, advertising agencies or major tech conglomerates - Deep understanding of Japanese business etiquette and the ability to navigate complex organizational hierarchies - Comfortable with the ambiguity of an early-stage international expansion for a category-defining product, thinking in first principles to both close deals on the ground and build processes for scale Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide. There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range. Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates. You think in coverage models, conversion rates, repeatable plays, and up-leveling talent. We’re not looking to replicate a traditional mid-market playbook; this team needs to be built around AI-powered workflows, product signals, and personalized outreach at-scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and run the Growth segment: 6-8+ pods at scale (one to two AEs and one Engagement Manager per pod), plus the BD org leader and team that feeds every segment. With scale, this team adds additional leadership and dedicated in-bound sales teams. - Own new ACV and NRR for Growth, plus company-wide sourced-pipeline targets through your BD team - reviewed weekly with the CRO - Design the demand funnel: inbound routing and qualification, outbound plays, deal-size floors that push reps upmarket, and a sub-$15k inside-sales lane so small deals get won without burning AE capacity - Hire and develop a Growth Revenue Manager bench - your managers should be your next segment leaders. Coach-up and up-level all talent within the org to be top talent that promotes through to enterprise selling teams. - Instrument everything: conversion by stage, ASP progression, speed to first meeting - and rebuild plays monthly off the data WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 10+ years in SaaS sales with 4+ years leading enterprise, mid-market or velocity sales teams, including owning a BD or SDR function - You have personally built a greenfield high-velocity motion - coverage model, cadence design, comp mechanics - not just operated one - A record of growing ASP: you have moved a segment from small transactional deals to $50k-$100k standard deals and can explain exactly how - Experience with consumption-based or PLG revenue, where product usage is the pipeline signal that matters most - Daily working fluency with AI tools for prospecting and research (Clay, Gong, Claude, or equivalents), and the conviction to make your team match it - A quota history you are proud to walk through, as an IC and as a leader STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE - Built or scaled an inside-sales closing lane for high-volume small deals - Sold to creative, marketing, or media buyers - Experience designing SDR-to-AE promotion paths that actually promote people COMPENSATION OTE $375K - 450K (60/40 base to variable). Offers equity. Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. ABOUT THE ROLE Open to hiring remote across North America - NYC, San Francisco, or Denver preferred. Runway is scaling its Enterprise revenue organization with leaders who know how to build and scale high-performance teams. And, who can operate a revenue machine while keeping customer value in mind - leading our industry-based revenue pods responsible for both net-new ACV, NRR, and Renewal. This role is designed for the leader who wants to accelerate their CRO career trajectory. Someone who knows how to build and scale teams and leadership excellence from $100M to $500M+ organizations, operate in AI-native fluid environments, and have experience selling-to, expanding, and renewing with client operators from across a variety of ICPs (From operators in Marketing, HR, Operations, and Finance, to technologists in AI, IT Infrastructure, and Security). Runway is searching for leaders who enjoy the build - hiring top-performing AEs and frontline leaders to grow your teams for scale. You’re a leader-of-leaders who lead hybrid revenue pods of AEs + Engagement managers. We expect you to think like a CRO - every pod is effectively a P&L, expansion is as much your number as new logos, and any customer who signs needs to see value through consumption of the Runway platform. If you have only ever inherited a running enterprise org, this is not the right fit. If you have built one, we'd like to talk. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and lead an Enterprise segment of 3-4 frontline sales managers; each with 3-5 revenue pods beneath them with operating Enterprise Account Executives and Engagement Managers in each pod. At scale, this role leads 25 - 40 GTM teammates - Own the segment's new ACV and NRR targets - both numbers, one owner, reviewed weekly with the CRO - Engage personally with C-level executives on accounts, building business cases and navigating procurement, security review, legal through to production deployment - Run the operating rhythm: forecasting to +/-5%, deal inspection, pipeline generation discipline, and account planning across a long-cycle book - Ensure that each of your leaders engages their revenue pods (AE + Engagement manager) to drive license consumption and value output. The more we invest in our customer’s adoption, the more everyone wins. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 12+ years of enterprise software sales with 5+ years leading enterprise sales organizations with experience as a second-line leader - A validated record of building - you have grown an enterprise segment past 25 sellers and beaten the number while doing it - Personal history of closing and sponsoring $250k-$1M+ ACV deals with $1B+ revenue companies - Experience running consumption or usage-based revenue models, where expansion is earned through customer value - Fluency with modern AI - you use these tools daily, operate your team with them to drive productivity, you can demo Runway credibly to a CMO or CTO, and you have a defensible point of view on where generative media is going - Deep understanding of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message to reinforce value-orientation and deal progression with your teams - A record of exceeding quota year-over-year STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE - Experience selling API and AI infrastructure solutions to CTO / CIOs - Sold creative, media, or content technology to Fortune 500 marketing and studio organizations - Built vertical pod or team structures with shared new ACV + NRR%/Renewal ownership - Scaled a GTM org through the $100M to $500M+ revenue stage COMPENSATION OTE $400K - 475K (60/40 base to variable). ABOUT THE ROLE *Open to hiring remote on the West Coast— preferable to have someone near our office in SF or Seattle. We're looking for someone to join our IT team and take ownership of day-to-day technical support for a globally distributed company. You'd report to the Head of IT/Security and be the first point of contact for employees with requests, device issues, and account problems. You'll own the fundamentals from day one: handling tickets, provisioning laptops, running on-boarding, and keeping our SaaS stack in order. But this is a small team at a fast-growing AI company, so the scope grows quickly. You'll get pulled into real projects sooner than you'd expect, across security, infrastructure, and automation. How far you take it depends on what you're good at and what interests you. This role is also the start of our IT presence internationally. Most of the company sits in North America today, and you'd be our first IT hire outside it, extending support coverage to new time-zones and helping lay the groundwork as we grow globally. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Handle help-desk tickets: Triage and resolve employee requests — password resets, access provisioning, Slack/Google Workspace/Zoom troubleshooting, and general "my thing is broken" support - Manage the device lifecycle: Procure, provision, configure, and ship laptops for new hires. Handle off-boarding wipes and returns. Keep the asset inventory accurate. - Run on-boarding and off-boarding: Create accounts, apply security profiles, draft welcome communications, and make sure new employees have everything before day one - Administer Google Workspace: Manage users, groups, aliases, and license assignments. You'll use both the admin console and CLI tools regularly. - Support endpoint compliance: Work with our device trust tooling to keep employee machines meeting security policies, and follow up when they don't - Deploy and enforce security policies: Help roll out and maintain endpoint security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements across the fleet - Manage corporate software: Handle seat assignments, renewals, license optimization, and access reviews across our SaaS stack - Support office networking and AV: Help maintain networking equipment, conference room setups, and office technology across our physical locations as needed - Train and enable employees: Deliver lightweight technical guidance and training on IT systems, both for new hires and for ongoing support (written guides, short walkthroughs, the occasional screen share) - Write things down: Maintain run-books, knowledge base articles, and process docs. If you fix something, document how. WHERE THIS ROLE CAN GROW We don't expect you to stay in a pure helpdesk lane. Our SOC2 program has ongoing evidence collection and device trust work to pick up, and there's security policy work that needs someone to own the rollout and enforcement side. On the infrastructure side, we manage cloud resources through infrastructure-as-code, and there's room to contribute once you're comfortable. We also automate a lot (scripting, CI/CD pipelines) and there's no shortage of manual process waiting to be turned into a workflow. Over time, you'd lead IT projects around endpoint management, security improvements, and internal tooling rather than just executing on them. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Some form of IT support experience. A help-desk role, an internal support function, or just being the person everyone came to when something broke. The title matters less than the reps. - Comfort with macOS. Our user endpoint fleet is mostly Mac. You should be able to troubleshoot system issues, manage profiles, and work in the terminal without hand-holding. - Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, or the confidence to pick it up fast. CLI admin tooling experience is a plus. - A working understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN basics, and how traffic moves. You don't need to be a network engineer, but you shouldn't be lost when a connectivity issue comes in. - Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles. You should know what endpoint security, encryption, and access controls are, and why they matter, even if you haven't built policies from scratch. - Strong written communication. This is a remote role and coordination happens in Slack and Notion. If you can't write clearly, the timezone gap makes everything harder. - Self-direction. There's separation between you and the rest of the IT team for part of the day. You need to be someone who sees what needs doing and does it. - Curiosity about how systems work. Maybe you've run a homelab, automated something tedious with a script, or set up a Pi. We care more about the impulse than the resume line. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with MDM platforms (any of the major ones) - Any exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc) and infrastructure-as-code concepts - Scripting in Python, Bash, or JavaScript - Familiarity with zero-trust networking concepts and tools - Background in compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001) - Exposure to international IT regulations or data privacy requirements (GDPR, etc.) Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide. We're looking for a Designer, Growth (Product Marketing) to sit at the intersection of brand, performance marketing, and generative media. This is not a brand systems or campaign concepting role — it's a high-volume, output-driven design role. You'll own the visual execution of paid and performance marketing across video, motion, and static formats, producing assets that are on-brand, well art directed and built to convert. You'll report to the Creative Director of Product Marketing. Your work will directly shape how people first encounter and engage with Runway's products. That means producing scroll-stopping video ads, designing static and animated assets for paid social and display, and using generative tools — including Runway's own — as a core part of how you work. You'll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and creative teams, and you'll be measured on craft, throughput, and performance. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and produce high volumes of performance marketing assets across video, motion, and static formats — paid social, display, YouTube and beyond - Use Runway to ideate, create and iterate on video and image assets that are on-brand and well art directed — not just technically functional - Own the visual execution of ad creative from concept through final delivery, working from briefs or generating your own directions when needed - Produce motion graphics and animated ads that communicate product value quickly and compellingly - Partner with the Product Marketing and growth team to develop integrated ad concepts where copy and design work together - Build and iterate on creative variants for A/B and multivariate testing — adapting formats, hooks and visual treatments based on performance data - Maintain a consistent visual language across all performance touchpoints without letting assets feel templated or stale - Collaborate with product marketing on go-to-market launches, translating new product capabilities into visual stories that resonate with target audiences - Hands-on experience designing for the major paid channels (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc) with fluency in each platform's native specs, aspect ratios and ad formats, and a real point of view on what works where. - Own updates to GTM assets and templates, keeping them current and on-brand across campaigns. Bring hands-on experience building and automating deck design systems, so our presentations stay consistent without manual rework each time. - Contribute to a growing library of on-brand design components, motion templates and generative prompting strategies that raise the team's overall output velocity WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 3-5 years of experience in performance marketing design, motion design, or a related role at a tech or consumer company - A portfolio that shows range across video ads, motion graphics and static performance creative — with clear evidence of craft and art direction judgment, not just execution - Strong motion design skills — you're fluent in After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent, and can produce polished animated and video assets independently - Solid graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, color — applied to high-converting ad formats, not just editorial or brand work - Hands-on experience using AI image and video generation tools with an art director's eye — you know how to prompt, iterate and finish work that looks intentional - Comfort with performance data — you can look at creative metrics and know what visual changes to make next - Ability to operate at high velocity across multiple simultaneous campaigns without sacrificing quality - Experience working closely with growth marketers and product teams in a fast-moving environment - Experience in AI, creative tools or developer-adjacent products is a strong plus Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Data Analytics Leader

ABOUT THE ROLE Preferable to have someone near an office in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the US for the right candidate. Runway runs on data. We have a fast-growing self-serve business, an expanding enterprise motion, and millions of creators generating an extraordinary volume of signal every day. What we don't yet have is a dedicated data leader. Today analytics is distributed across product, engineering, and finance — good instincts, real numbers, but no single owner of the definitions, no semantic layer everyone trusts, and no system that lets any person at Runway get a reliable answer without asking someone first. We're hiring a Data Analytics Leader to own that end-to-end. This is our first data hire. You'll own the metrics that define the business, build the semantic and AI foundations that make data genuinely self-serve, and push insights onto teams rather than waiting for requests. You'll start as the primary IC, writing queries and models yourself, and grow a small, high-caliber analytics team as the surface area expands. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Build the AI foundations for self-serve data. Stand up the semantic/metrics layer that serves as the single source of truth for both humans and natural-language agents, and the tooling on top of it so anyone at Runway can ask a question in plain language and get a correct, governed answer. This is the highest-leverage part of the role. - Own the numbers. Define and steward Runway's core metrics — self-serve ARR and funnel, enterprise usage, retention, cohort economics, unit costs — so there is one trusted answer to every important question about the business. - Push insights, don' just take orders. Proactively surface where the business is leaking, where a cohort is behaving strangely, and where the next 0→1 opportunity is hiding. - Own the analytics stack. Our stack is ClickHouse, Mixpanel, dbt, Dagster, Airbyte, Fivetran, Kinesis, and Python. You'll shape the modeling layer, governance, and instrumentation standards, and make sharp calls about how to build better systems. - Build the team. Start hands-on as the DRI, then hire and develop analysts as the business scales. Set the bar for what good analytical work looks like at Runway. WHAT YOU’LL NEED - 8+ years in data/analytics, including time as the most senior data person in a fast-moving company. A track record of analysis that changed product and company decisions. - Genuinely hands-on. You are fluent in SQL and Python and you can steer your agents to generate high quality insights. You are excited by being the person who builds the first models and answers the first questions. - Deep modern data stack proficiency. dbt and warehouse modeling are second nature; experience with ClickHouse, product analytics tools like Mixpanel, and orchestration (Dagster/Airflow) is a strong plus. - Semantic layer and AI-native data experience. You've built — or are hungry to build — the metrics layer and agentic tooling that lets non-technical people and LLMs query data safely and correctly. - Business fluency. You think in terms of revenue, retention, margin, and unit economics. You're comfortable working directly with finance and leadership, and you know when to run the multi-week analysis versus the napkin math that unblocks a decision today. - Comfort with rapid pace and high accountability culture. You move fast, decide with incomplete information, and default to shipping. - Excellent written and verbal communication. You can turn a messy question into a sharp, written answer that a non-technical audience acts on. Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide. A PEEK AT OUR TECHNICAL STACK Our API endpoints for real-time collaboration and media asset management is written in TypeScript, and runs in ECS containers on AWS Fargate. We leverage multiple AWS-native components, such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Kinesis, and SQS, as building blocks of our infrastructure. Our inference backend is written in Python (PyTorch, TorchScript), and is deployed across multiple clusters / cloud providers. We use Kubernetes for container orchestration, and k8s-native components such as Flyte, Kueue, and Kyverno efficient job orchestration. We invest in prometheus and grafana for monitoring, and Terraform to manage our infrastructure. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own the full API lifecycle from design and implementation to monitoring, optimization, and documentation for both public and internal APIs - Design and implement async workflows for task orchestration, content moderation, prompt enhancement, and post-processing pipelines - Optimize database queries and improve performance for a high-traffic Postgres database - Build rate limiting, fraud detection, and credit management systems - Implement comprehensive API security, rate limiting, authentication, and monitoring systems to ensure reliability at scale - Improve the public API developer experience with better documentation, SDKs, and tooling - Improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of our codebases WHAT YOU’LL NEED - 3+ years of industry experience building production APIs - Strong TypeScript experience, so you can jump in and be productive immediately - Experience owning systems end-to-end: infrastructure, monitoring, logging, metrics, incident response - Understanding of API design patterns, REST principles, and async workflows - Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred) and query optimization - Experience architecting production-ready systems at scale using cloud primitives from AWS, GCP, or Azure - Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them with tight product deadlines - Humility and open mindedness; at Runway we love to learn from one another Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. ABOUT THE ROLE *Preferable to have someone near an office in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring anywhere in the US. Runway's Developer Platform (RunwayDev) is the best place for developers to build with AI media models, with customers ranging from the world’s software companies, to enterprises and agencies, to vibe-coders. RunwayDev provides a single gateway to integrate with the best image, video, audio, and real-time models. Our vision is to be the developer platform behind all creative work: one place to call the best model for any creative task, with the best quality output. RunwayDev serves not only Runway’s first-party frontier models (Gen-4.5, Aleph, Act-Two), but also provides day-zero access to a curated set of best-in-class third-party models, and intelligent routing that no aggregator can match. We're hiring a Product Leader to own the Developer Platform business end-to-end. You'll own the API revenue number, create the platform strategy, prioritize the portfolio of bets, and serve as the single front door for this business across the company. You'll start deeply hands-on as the primary PM, and grow a strong team as the business scales. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own the developer platform business. Drive the revenue goals for the developer platform (API ARR), along with the full funnel of developer signups, activation (first task), weekly active developer accounts, and developer NPS. - Create and drive the strategy. Articulate and drive the portfolio of bets that make Runway the platform of choice for developers integrating media models. Co-develop strategy with leadership and partners, then make clear, ambitious calls on where to invest and what to cut. - Win professional developers. Land and grow agencies, software tools, and platform partners. Partner with our internal deployment teams to ensure developers are successful with the platform. - Ship, hands-on. Talk to developers every week, ship your own PRs and reference integrations, and partner tightly with engineering, design, DevRel, PMM, and partnerships. You'll be in the details daily and shipping regularly. - Build the team. Start as the primary IC DRI and hire PMs underneath you as the business grows, raising the bar on outcome orientation as you scale. WHAT YOU’LL NEED - 7+ years in product management, preferably leading a developer-facing or platform/API product at meaningful scale. A track record of moving revenue and adoption metrics, not just shipping features. - You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate towards shipping today, not writing docs for tomorrow. - A GM mindset. You think in terms of the business, not just the roadmap. You're fluent in the economics of a usage-based / consumption API business, comfortable owning a P&L-style number, and you instinctively tie every bet to a hypothesis about how it moves the business. - Deep developer-product craft. Hands-on experience with API and SDK design, developer onboarding and activation, docs and DevRel, and usage-based pricing and packaging. You know what a great developer experience feels like and you've personally driven the loop. - Strong technical fluency and customer obsession. You can earn the trust of a discerning developer audience — talk credibly about latency, cost, reliability, and integration ergonomics. Experience with inference platforms, infrastructure, or AI media products is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication. You can make a sharp, written argument and tell a compelling launch story. You confidently assess the state of the business, call out challenges and articulate your plans to solve them Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team.
